Job Title: Marine Pilot (VLCC Experience)
 Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE)
 Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Marine Pilot with 5+ years of experience, including hands-on work with Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), to safely navigate vessels in and out of UAE ports.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pilot VLCCs through UAE harbors, ports, and waterways.
  • Collaborate with captains and crew for safe docking and undocking.
  • Monitor weather, tides, and currents for safe navigation.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards.
  • Liaise with port authorities, tug operators, and vessel crew.
  • Perform pre- and post-arrival checks, especially for VLCCs.
  • Stay updated on maritime regulations and navigation technologies.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years as a Marine Pilot with VLCC experience.
  • Valid UAE-issued Marine Pilot License.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE port operations and routes.
  • Proficiency with modern navigation tools (e.g., radar, GPS).
  • Ability to work in challenging weather and sea conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Maritime, Nautical Science degree or in any related field
  • Experience working in the UAE.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
