Details
  • Contract duration: 9–10 months, no early relief possible.
  • Very old vessel, constant breakdowns, lack of spare parts.
  • Working hours up to 14–16 hours daily, no weekends or rest days.
  • Requirements: minimum 5 previous contracts specifically on vessels built in the 1980s, fluent English, ability to work fully independent without shore office support.
  • Strictly no personal phones or internet use on board.
  • Food: limited fixed menu, no alternatives.
  • Salary: USD 900/month (no overtime, no bonuses, no adjustments).
  • Only one-way ticket covered (return travel at seafarer’s own expense).
